Video Analysis
Send me a video of your most important games, or individual clips. I will provide a play-by-play analysis and show you new techniques, references, pointers, and suggestions to improve your playing at each second of the game. I will talk about momentum, being in the moment, games speed, and when those are each important. I’ll introduce new practice skills and help you grow as and athletes. ONLY PERFECT PRACTICES MAKE PERFECT PERFORMANCE.
Recruitment Support
As the Head Coach at the University of Hawaii for ten years I had the pleasure of meeting and working with top university coaches in the United States and know what they look for when recruiting international athletes. I am fortunate to have many friends who coach in the United States who trust my recommendations. Every year I use my connections to help top Canadian athletes from my club find opportunities to peruse water polo in American Universities. I am hoping to expand this service and offer these opportunities to athletes from across Canada.
Session Coaching
Session coaching is targeted at large groups interested in hosting a single water polo session with Coach Roy. These sessions would be perfect for a recreational water polo club interested in introducing high performance skills, or a swim club or summer camp looking to introduce participants to the sport of water polo. Other large groups are also welcome to enquire.
Virtual Video Session
Book a private or small group virtual video session. Send in your game tape and I will organize a Zoom session to watch the game with you and discuss key ways to improve your playing.
Private Coaching
Are you interested in private coaching for an individual or small group of athletes? Private sessions are a great way to introduce young athletes to water polo or target speciffic skill development for more advanced athletes. Clients are responsible for securing pool time.
Private camp or clinic
Guest coach a clinic for another club (ex. Winnipeg)
